About the role

The role involves delivering and managing the Valeda Light Delivery System for patients with retinal diseases under medical supervision. Key duties include performing patient evaluations, administering treatments, and coordinating overall patient care and clinic operations.

Description Under the supervision of the Medical Director and Practice Leadership, serve as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in the delivery and management of Valeda Light Delivery System. This position involves working closely with physicians, staff, and patients to support treatment of retinal disease and other approved indications. Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment administration, patient education, documentation, and coordination of care while supporting daily clinic operations and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

Perform patient evaluations and determine eligibility for Valeda treatment protocols. Administer photo biomodulation treatments utilizing the Valeda Light Delivery System. Educate patients regarding treatment plans, expected outcomes, risks, benefits, and follow-up requirements. Obtain and document patient medical histories and treatment-related information. Monitor patients during treatment sessions and address concerns or adverse events. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR. Collaborate with physicians regarding treatment plans, patient progress, and clinical findings. Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, clinical protocols, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards. Coordinate patient scheduling and treatment flow. Maintain treatment equipment and treatment rooms. Meet productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction standards Making Decisions and Solving Problems- Reviewing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time. Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards- Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards. Communicating with patients to convey necessary medical and financial information and document accurately in EMR and practice management system Getting Information- Coordinating, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. Monitor and execute work on assigned patients at assigned location(s) Communicate trends and root issues through proper lines of reporting. Meet productivity and Key Performance Indicator standards. Some travel from practice to practice may be required Other duties as assigned
