Support surgeons during oral surgery procedures by preparing equipment and monitoring patients under anesthesia. Manage patient medical histories, provide pre- and post-operative education, and maintain sterile clinical environments.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assisting or Dental Assistant Certification. Experience monitoring patients during IV sedation procedures. Dental radiology certification (where applicable). Health & Safety Requirements Current Hepatitis B vaccination and titer. Current TB screening/clearance. Compliance with OSHA and infection control standards. Previous experience in oral surgery or dental assisting is required along with a current BLS/CPR certification. Candidates must be compliant with Hepatitis B and TB screening requirements.
