Position
Purpose: Responsible for preparing the antigen used for patient testing and treatment at Colorado Allergy & Asthma Centers under the direction of the Antigen Lab Supervisor. We are looking for a positive, responsible individual to contribute depth & knowledge to our busy practice.
Responsibilities include: Prepares patient immunotherapy treatment sets Prepares and maintains antigen skin test trays Performs inventory for stock antigen Operates in compliance with waste disposal policies Operates on a computer base program in preparing antigen recipes with accuracy Performs duties in compliance with a sterile/and or clean environment Performs proficiency quiz and media tests Performs duties in a professional manner with a positive attitude, with all personnel Works with the team maintaining a quiet and focused atmosphere Communicates professionally with physicians, staff, or vendors in assisting with answering questions on immunotherapy policies or procedures Perform as Medical Assistant/Clinic Assistant III; Administering and managing immunotherapy if/when deemed necessary Maintains high level of focus for details Maintains the lab's sterile and quiet environment OSHA, HIPAA, COVID and National Lab Compliance adherence at all times Other duties as deemed necessary *Responsibilities are subject to change at any time based on the company need.
