You are an integral member of the Perioperative Team!
As a Periop Tech, you will work with Surgical Technicians, OR Nurses, Anesthesia and Surgeons to provide personal and environmental care and comfort to patients undergoing surgery.
In this role, you will be knowledgeable in both the operation and care of specialized instruments and equipment used by our Surgical and Anesthesia team.
Periop Tech's are responsible for positioning, lifting, and/or transferring patients as well as cleaning and sterilizing the Operating Room and OR equipment after each procedure.
You would also help transport specimens, manage inventory, and maintain adequate supply levels.

This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status.

Experience: Previous Operating Room, anesthesia tech, or related Health Care experience required.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross. Previous experience in an operating room, as an anesthesia tech, or in a related healthcare setting is required.
