About the role

Provide nursing care within a multi-specialty operating room at a Level I Trauma Center. Duties include acting as a team lead, precepting, and managing rapid response tasks.

Operating Room Civilian RN – Brooke Army Medical Center Join the surgical team supporting Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), the DOD's largest medical center and a Level I Trauma Center. This opportunity offers Operating Room RNs the chance to work in a structured hospital environment without traditional call requirements while supporting military service members and their families As a GiaMed JV employee, you can expect: No on-call requirement Major medical center environment Multi-specialty operating room Complex surgical cases

Qualifications

  • Must be U.S. Citizen
  • BLS certification current
  • ACLS Certification current
  • Minimum one year recent experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in a hospital or surgical setting.

FULL TIME- At BAMC Operating Room RN Responsibilities

  • As a GiaMed employee, your duties and responsibilities will be the same as any other registered nurse on the same unit.
  • Duties can include but are not limited to the following: team lead, precept, orientate, rapid response, and other tasks as needed. Occasional weekends. Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen with current BLS and ACLS certifications. Requires at least one year of recent experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in a hospital or surgical setting.
