Description The certified nurse aide performs person centered personal cares, homemaker and companion services for the patient under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals. Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values. Responsible for on-call services, as assigned. Perform care as directed by the registered nurse. Daily documentation of type and frequency of cares provided to each resident prior to the end of shift. Respond promptly to resident calls for assistant. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary staff in the delivery of person centered care. Communicates changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse immediately and accurately. Only perform tasks in which training has been provided. Cooperate with scheduling to accomplish adequate coverage for patient services. Cooperate with supervisory visit every 14 days and on-site registered nurse supervisory visit annually. Practice infection control mitigation at all times. Performs other duties, as assigned.
