Experienced Physician Assistant –Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology | Manassas, Haymarket, & Culpeper Virginia
UVA Community Health is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join a high-performing Radiology team serving three community hospitals across Northern Virginia. This is a unique opportunity to practice at the intersection of diagnostic and interventional radiology, with a role designed to balance fluoroscopic procedures and image-guided interventions in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. Providers in this position benefit from a physician-led, highly collaborative culture backed by the resources of an academic health system, meaningful variety through a multi-site practice model, exposure to both inpatient and procedural care, and a thoughtfully structured scope that allows clinicians to build expertise across approximately diagnostic and interventional radiology.
Perform real-time fluoroscopic procedures (e.g., barium swallows, upper GI series, esophagrams, joint injections/arthrograms, lumbar punctures, HSGs).
Review prior imaging, gather clinical history, and formulate accurate assessment plans.
Generate clear, accurate preliminary procedural reports for attending radiologist review.
Possess or able to obtain ARRT fluoroscopy training to operate fluoroscopy
Conduct comprehensive pre-procedural histories, physical exams, and lab reviews.
Review prior imaging
Obtain informed consent, thoroughly explaining risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients.
Provide post-procedure education and follow-up care instructions to patients and families.
This position will rotate to all 3 Community Health Hospitals located in Manassas, Haymarket, and Culpeper.

The base compensation range for this role is an hourly rate of $61.28 - $74.82 for a 1.0 clinical FTE status. Individual compensation will be determined by fair market value and the selected candidate’s qualifications, clinical experience, specialty training, credentials, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs, such as productivity, quality, non-productivity, or other incentives that may be available for eligible positions.
Must be an NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant with Virginia licensure and fluoroscopy training. Prior experience in diagnostic or interventional radiology is preferred.
