About the role

Develop routine and complex proton radiotherapy treatment plans using 3D medical images. Perform non-planning dosimetry activities including electronic charting, billing implementation, and supply maintenance.

Work Schedule

  • 40 hours per week,
  • Day shift,
  • Monday through
  • Friday position, with shifts between 7:30AM – 5:00PM. This position may be eligible for a $5000.00 sign-on bonus. This position is located at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. Remote position may be considered.

Pay

We are seeking a Dosimetrist (Radiation Oncology, Medical Dosimetrist) to

Develop proton treatment plans from 3D medical images (CT, MRI, PET) involving vital areas of the body with assistance. Perform non-planning dosimetry activities such as implement institutional electronic charting and workflow systems, implement billing methods for a high standard for proper and accurate billing, CT immobilization assistance, order and maintain supplies for in-vivo dosimetry. Proton planning interest required, and experience is highly preferred

Education

Minimum Successful completion of Medical Dosimetry Program Current certification with the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board will be accepted in lieu of education

Work Experience

Preferred – Proton Planning experience RayStation Planning Experience MIM Experience Aria experience TOMO Therapy treatment planning experience VMAT planning experience

Licenses and Certifications

Minimum – Certification in Medical Dosimetry by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) within 12 months of hire
