The Hospice Chaplain provides spiritual support and pastoral counseling to patients and families facing end-of-life issues. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate spiritual care into the overall plan of care and provide bereavement services for survivors.

The Hospice Chaplain is a member of the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team and provides pastoral counseling and spiritual support to patients and families as needed and serves as a resource to other providers of spiritual support involved with Hospice patients and families.
Sitting up to seven hours a day; 2 hours at a time, with times of standing or walking. Uses hands and fingers frequently. Occasionally carries up to 10 pounds. Occasionally stoops, bends, squats, kneels, or reaches above shoulder level. Hearing in normal conversation. Seeing, as it relates to general vision.
Graduate of an accredited school of Theology, ordained clergy or licensed/endorsed lay person required.
Trained in and at least one year experience in spiritual care and bereavement care Basic unit of Clinical Pastoral Education required.
Monday through Friday, emergency on call as needed.
