Under general supervision, is responsible for the coordination and administration diagnostic and radiation therapy CT exams; ensures patient safety, technical quality and timely transfer of data; fabricates any necessary immobilization devices prior to scan as needed.
Perform CT scans for routine radiologic exams.
Perform CT scans for radiation treatment planning purposes.
Perform X-Ray scans for diagnostic use Perform Panorex for dental clinic.
Other duties as assigned.
Graduate of an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology.
2 years experience as radiological technologist. CT experience preferred.
Registered by ARRT with current License by the state of Louisiana, CRP
Requires graduation from an AMA accredited radiologic technology program and ARRT registration with a Louisiana state license. At least 2 years of experience as a radiological technologist is required, with CT experience preferred.
