The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within a fast-paced surgical environment. They also supervise LPNs and PCAs while facilitating communication between physicians and families.

SHIFT: 12 Hour Day Shift
Our Surgery department has 12 fast paced rooms at Waterloo Medical Center. Our cases include trauma, orthopedic, podiatry, general surgery, urology, robotics and neurosurgery. RNs scrub, circulate and assist.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
Full Time: 40 Hrs/ Week
Scheduled Hours depending on cases
evening and weekend call
must be within 30 minutes when on call
Minimum Qualifications: Current IA RN license
BSN preferred
No previous experience required
