JOB TYPE: Kinship Navigator
Location: Dover, Delaware
1. Introduce and provide kinship services to relative and non-relative caregivers referred to Children’s Choice.
2. Maintains timely contact with all families on active caseload by means of home visits, office visits, phone contact or correspondence.
3. Supports children living with relative caregivers to remain outside of foster care.
4. Maintain accurate, detailed and current case records on each client.
5. Responsible for quality documentation and tracking families served
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field and experience working with families in a social services context. Must possess a valid driver's license, a registered and insured vehicle, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
