Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an primary care setting Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals. Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director What’s Required: Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state or the ability to obtain Ability to obtain: DOT certification within 60 days of hire DEA licensure Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compensation: Pay is based on experience, skills and falls within an established range.
