The responsibilities of the Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist include empathetic and instructional approach to patient care, the preparation, operation of imaging, collection of data using computers, necessary imaging devices and care of instrumentation. Performs cardiac ultrasound procedures with directions from the Radiologist and Cardiologists. The technologist must adhere to State Licensure scope of practice and medical staff approved protocols.

Requires current RDCS and/or CCI Registry certification (or obtain within 12 months) and BLS Certification. Two or more years of prior experience is preferred.
