Position Title

Part-time Weekend General or Addiction Psychiatrist Location: Moultrie, GA Turning Point is one of the largest behavioral health systems in South Georgia allowing patients to transition between levels of care. Turning Point offers a full continuum of programs for adults with psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment issues. Treatment programs combine bio-psychosocial therapy with the 12-step recovery philosophy. Position Overview: Role: General Psychiatrist comfortable with Substance Abuse/Dual Diagnosis or Addiction Psychiatrist Patient Population: Adult Dual Diagnosis/ Substance Abuse Schedule: Saturday and Sunday onsite 10 hour shifts - 20 hours per week Employment Type: Employed part-time onsite, pro-rated benefits, W2 Daily caseload - up to 20 patients per day Additional earnings potential: Extra call options and Productivity Bonus Plan. EMR: Cerner Key Responsibilities: Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for adult patients. Participate in daily treatment team meetings. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines. Position Highlights: Employed Part-time 10 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday Fully staffed Medical Staff Services office providing administrative support. Opportunity to work with residents through Georgia South Psychiatric Residency and medical students with PCOM-South Georgia campus. Collegial work environment with other psychiatrists, NPs, PAs, therapists and nurses. Pro-rated part-time benefits package

Qualifications

Education: M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in General Psychiatry or Addiction Psychiatry Training: Successful completion of an accredited General Psychiatry residency. Experience with Substance Abuse and Dual Diagnosis populations required.
