Part-time Weekend General or Addiction Psychiatrist Location: Moultrie, GA Turning Point is one of the largest behavioral health systems in South Georgia allowing patients to transition between levels of care. Turning Point offers a full continuum of programs for adults with psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment issues. Treatment programs combine bio-psychosocial therapy with the 12-step recovery philosophy. Position Overview: Role: General Psychiatrist comfortable with Substance Abuse/Dual Diagnosis or Addiction Psychiatrist Patient Population: Adult Dual Diagnosis/ Substance Abuse Schedule: Saturday and Sunday onsite 10 hour shifts - 20 hours per week Employment Type: Employed part-time onsite, pro-rated benefits, W2 Daily caseload - up to 20 patients per day Additional earnings potential: Extra call options and Productivity Bonus Plan. EMR: Cerner Key Responsibilities: Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for adult patients. Participate in daily treatment team meetings. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines. Position Highlights: Employed Part-time 10 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday Fully staffed Medical Staff Services office providing administrative support. Education: M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in General Psychiatry or Addiction Psychiatry Training: Successful completion of an accredited General Psychiatry residency. Experience with Substance Abuse and Dual Diagnosis populations required.
