Market context

California per diem PT demand is steady

Per diem physical therapist roles in California are commonly driven by coverage needs in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and pediatric settings, so schedules can change with patient volume and staffing gaps. These roles are competitive because employers often want a current California license, a physical therapy degree, and pediatric experience preferred, while still considering new graduates. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then tailor your application to highlight licensure status, pediatric exposure, and flexibility for per diem shifts.
