About the role

The Imaging Coordinator manages daily schedules for patients and physicians while serving as a primary communicator for department operations. They are also responsible for maintaining medical records, inputting outpatient data, and acting as a film librarian.

The Imaging Coordinator organizes and maintains the daily schedule to meet the needs of patients and physicians of the medical staff at facilities in the Baptist Health Care organization. This position is available as a resource and communicator for physicians, patients, department, and hospital personnel, visitors, etc., regarding the overall daily operations of the department. This position maintains all medical records and files. This position obtains and inputs data required for outpatient appointments, performs functions of film librarian, and communicates reports to physician's offices.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Candidates must possess knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to perform general office procedures and computer operations.
