As a Clinical Technologist, you’ll be a critical member of our team, supporting patient flow and engaging in various clinical support tasks. After completing your initial training (4-6 weeks), you’ll perform all job responsibilities independently with confidence. This entry-level role is ideal for MAs and PCTs looking to expand their skills and take on new challenges in a fast-paced clinic environment. This position will float between Mansfield, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Grapevine. Mileage reimbursement will apply. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow. Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness. Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked. Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality.
High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting Must be willing to float and cover the South East Tampa clinics as listed above.
Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, PCT, or Surgical Technician. BLS certification is required within 60 days of hire, and candidates must be willing to float between multiple clinic locations.
