Range: $40.00 - $45.00 HourlyUnder the direction of management, works as a team to organize, coordinate, oversee and participate in specialized counseling and mental health treatment and services. Mental Health Counselor incumbents work independently in providing psychiatric social services to mental health patients.
Functions:
Provide an array of outpatient mental health services to promote individualized patient recovery and stabilization.
Conduct intakes, individual therapy and a collaborative therapeutic approach if necessary.
Develop treatment plans and conduct reviews as needed throughout the duration of treatment.
Provide mental health assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services.
Complete and maintain documentation in a timely and accurate manner and according to Federal, State and Practice guidelines.
Write reports to court, school, or other community agencies as necessary
Follow up with psychiatrists and/or attending physicians as required.
Assures compliance with State regulations, legal requirements and established Trinity Behavioral Health policies and procedures related to mental health services.
Evaluates and determines a prospective patient’s eligibility for services.
