Manipulates computerized tomographical radiological equipment, using knowledge of positioning patients and general anatomy and physiology as well as the ability for processing these images. Responsible for the tracking of each study and the PACS acquisition of the study performed. Properly uses radiation protection devices, selects technical factors necessary to produce optimum quality computerized radiographical images; processes those images and performs a variety of other duties consistent with providing quality computerized tomographical services.
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.

Must be a graduate of an accredited radiology technology program and be A.R.R.T. registered and state licensed. BLS certification is required, and CT registration must be obtained within one year of hire.
