High School diploma or GED CPR-Basic Life Support of Healthcare Provider required from the American Heart Association LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: MAI & MAII- requires graduate of accredited MA program Or minimum of 3 years current relevant medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting. (evaluated by hiring manager for level hiring for) MAIII- requires graduate of accredited MA program with minimum of 3 years’ current medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting OR demonstrated competencies of MA III (evaluated by hiring manager) with minimum 5 years’ current relevant medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting MAIV- Only through promotional career ladder internally. Minimum of two years as an MAIII at a Baystate Health with demonstrated competencies for promotion to MA IV. Graduate of an accredited MA program and registered/certified by a third-party credential body.
