About the role

The Chaplain Resident is responsible for providing the spiritual component of pastoral services within the hospital. This involves acting as a competent pastoral care provider for patients, family members, and hospital personnel.

The Chaplain Resident is the member of the team who is responsible for the spiritual component of the pastoral services for the hospital. This position functions as a competent pastoral care provider with the ability to relate cooperatively with patients, family members, peers and other hospital personnel while a participant in the clinical education program of Baptist Health Care.
