Provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Prepares equipment and assists physician during examinations and treatments. Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, clean wounds, and monitors vital signs. Observes and maintains records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress. Utilizes automated scheduling system (IDX) to schedule appointments and phone triage.

Education & Experience: · Requires RN Certification and State of TN or compact state licensure Required · Bachelor of Science degree (BSN) or associate degree Preferred · Proven experience in clinic or hospital setting Preferred · 1-2 years’ experience in specific specialty area Preferred · Knowledge of nursing, anatomy, physiology and medical terminology · Knowledge of equipment, sterilize techniques and procedures of treatment · Knowledge of OSHA regulations · Knowledge and application of medical chart requirements · Ability to read charts to ensure lab tests and reports are included for physician review · Medical assessment skills · Knowledge of IDX system - Scheduling / Registration · Excellent written and verbal communication skills
