Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce radiographs for patients across all age groups. Performs intravenous radiographic studies with a high degree of autonomy and indirect supervision.

Responsibilities

Operates X‑Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous radiographic studies and work in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty-five years of age.

Qualifications

REQUIRED Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR). Screen Atlanta: Must be a Certified Mammographer. Two (2) years of experience required. Current and valid Georgia State driver's license. PREFERRED Prior experience in diagnostic radiology. Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel. Work Hours: 0 Weekend Requirements: No On-Call Requirements: No

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and registered by the ARRT. A valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is required.
