Essential duties
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders.
Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures.
Produce quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
Operate and maintain imaging equipment and report equipment issues.
Accurately document procedures in the electronic medical record and PACS.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.

Assist with portable exams, surgery, emergency department imaging, and other procedures as trained.
Cross-train in additional imaging modalities as needed to support rural healthcare services.
