Overview Position: Clinical Laboratory Scientist
$2,128.14 - $2,913.12 per week (base gross), based on a 36-hour (3x12-hour) schedule; equivalent to $50.67 – $69.36 per hour.
Each individual performs only those waived, moderate, or highly complex tests authorized by CLIA, Bus. & Prof. Code Section 1204, and must possess a degree of skill commensurate with individual’s education, training or experience and technical abilities. This individual: Supervise section operations and staff performance Ensure accuracy of test results and quality control standards Maintain regulatory compliance and accreditation requirements Oversee quality assurance, policies, and procedures Perform laboratory testing using manual and automated methods Support equipment maintenance and operational efficiency Collaborate with medical staff and leadership as a technical resource Complete additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1.ASCP certification, or equivalent, required 2.Requires one year of clinical laboratory work experience required. 3.Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements as stated in CLIA 4. Requires current and valid California State License. Pay Transparency Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $50.67 to $69.36 This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
