We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistants or Certified Nursing Assistants to provide exceptional care and support to residents in an assisted living environment, focusing on dementia care. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring resident safety, and promoting a comfortable and respectful atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse patient populations, including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring specialized care such as Alzheimer’s or memory care. Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor and record vital signs. Provide specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, memory impairments, or behavioral health needs. Support residents during meals, mobility exercises, and recreational activities to promote independence and well-being. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Resident Assistant qualification preferred. Strong communication skills coupled with compassion and patience for caregiving roles. Ability to adhere to infection control protocols and maintain confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Flexibility to work various shifts including nights or weekends if required by the facility.
