In Iowa, occupational therapy roles are typically driven by steady demand in hospitals, rehab settings, schools, and home health, where licensed clinicians help patients regain daily function. These positions are competitive because employers look for a valid Iowa OT license, accredited training, CPR certification, and the physical ability to assist with transfers and lift up to 50 lbs.
