Advanced cardiac program offers minimally invasive procedures, TAVR, CABG, robotic surgery, lung procedures and more.
Four PA team supports three talented surgeons.
Responsibilities include first assist, post-op care with ICU management, and clinic.
Monday – Friday schedule with 1:4 call.

Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification. Two years of CT surgery PA experience preferred. Position-specific knowledge and skills required: Proficient with saphenous vein harvest (open and endoscopic) and tube thoracostomy Management of ventilators and critically ill patients In-depth knowledge of and experience in titrating inotropic and pressor medications Efficient with placement of central lines, arterial lines (femoral, radial), Swan-Ganz catheters, and chest tubes Unrestricted NC Physician Assistant license, NC DEA, and ACLS certification through AHA required.
