Assists professional medical personnel in the provision of health/nutrition services to the public by performing a variety of health/nutrition screening procedures and conducting basic medical procedures. Work may be performed either in a County clinic, a client's home, or at other community settings as required by assignment. Employees are responsible for assessing the patient's physical, emotional and/or nutritional well-being.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in human services related to addiction, mental illness, or chronic disease. CPR certification is required, and preference is given to LPN or CMA candidates.
