The Nursing Assistant is responsible for preparing rooms and equipment for surgeries and coordinating specimen transport. They also assist with patient positioning, transport, and maintaining high care standards in a surgical setting.
.80 FTE, 32 hours per week. This is an Day/Evening position with (8) eight-hour shifts between the hours of 1000-1830. No weekend, call or holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department. You will work at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.
UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay. External hires may be eligible for a $2,400-3,000 sign on bonus (pro-rated on FTE).
