About the role

Perform standard x-ray examinations using proper technique and positioning according to provider orders. Responsible for preparing patients, updating medical records, and maintaining radiologic equipment.

$5,000 Sign on Bonus for Full-Time Radiologic Technologists $2,000 Sign on Bonus for Full- Time Limited Radiologic Technologists The limited radiologic technologist prepares for and performs standard x-ray examinations, while using proper technique and positioning per provider orders. The limited radiology technologist will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, updating medical records, utilizing x-ray equipment, and notifying the imaging supervisor of any equipment issues. Additional back office duties as assigned.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required radiologic equipment Experience with positioning patients and x-ray equipment to achieve desired diagnostic image Knowledge and experience with appropriate shielding protocols Select length and intensity of radiation exposure on individual patient basis or to specification of examination Use of CR and DR systems Examine images for properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion Send and store images

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Limited Radiologic Technologist or

  • Technology
  • Program required
  • Certification/License: Current state Limited Radiologic Technologist or Radiologic Technologist licensure. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Experience

Prior Limited Radiologic Technologist Radiologic Technologist experience (preferred), however new graduates are encouraged to apply Community Care Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO). #RT

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with current state licensure. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
