The Medical Assistant supports physicians by interviewing patients, recording vital signs, and managing patient flow. They are also responsible for collecting laboratory specimens and coordinating appointments and referrals.
The Medical Assistant assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
Interviews patients, obtains vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts.
