Licensed Mental Health Therapist Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted license: Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC in California (Active & Registered with BBS/BOP) Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT) Ability to provide therapy independently Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc. Experience in outpatient or group practice settings About Positive Change Counseling Center: Positive Change Counseling Center is a compassionate, client-centered mental health practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families create meaningful and lasting change.
