Description I.
INTRODUCTION This position is located at Raleigh Radiology, a freestanding outpatient imaging center located in Cary, NC.
The primary function of the Technologist - Sonographer at Raleigh Radiology is to provide outpatient ultrasound and radiology exams, as well as help in BMD as needed.
In addition, you must be registered as a radiographer and Sonographer and provide diagnostic outpatient procedures.
General sonography in an outpatient setting, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, breast, obstetric, pediatric, MSK, interventional, biopsy, and vascular exams.
The technologist must be registered in any subspecialty of Sonography with ARDMS or ARRT.
Although Sonography is the lead modality, rotation is required within Radiography and BMD as needed.
Employment Status: PRN Work Hours: Monday-Friday
Preferably worked in a busy office or hospital before.
Must have AHA BLS certification within 90 days of starting and keep it up. Must be registered with ARDMS or ARRT before hiring. ARDMS with RVT needed for vascular exams. Also registered as Radiologic Technologists with ARRT.
