We specialize in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, and our team of Certified Hand Therapists represents the highest level of expertise in treating conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.

In addition to hand therapy, our clinics provide comprehensive physical therapy services for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and movement disorders.

This unique opportunity allows you to work between our Melbourne and Rockledge clinic locations, providing care to a diverse orthopedic patient population while collaborating with an experienced team of rehabilitation professionals, including Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs).

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist with The Hale Hand Center, you will: Float between our Melbourne and Rockledge clinic locations Evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting while helping them regain strength, mobility, function, and confidence. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings Guide patients through therapeutic exercises to restore strength, mobility, and function Provide manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and other evidence-based interventions Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies Collaborate with physicians and fellow rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Practice Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics & Physical Medicine In-person care Monday - Friday schedule No weekends Part-time hours Flexible schedule

Qualifications

Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program Active Florida Physical Therapist license in good standing Current CPR certification Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities Self-motivated with a growth-oriented mindset Passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care

Requirements

Must be a graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program with an active Florida Physical Therapist license. Current CPR certification and strong communication skills are required.
