Provide direct supervision and hands-on assistance to individuals with disabilities, including personal care, health monitoring, and independent living skill development. Implement Individual Service Plans and ensure safe transportation and community integration for clients.
Maintain current certification in CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, Behavior Support Plan, and any other required training. Participated in personal and professional self-development to maintain or enhance work skills that allow for completion of job responsibilities. Other related duties, as requested or necessary. Qualifications Must successfully pass the DOT physical. Minimum of High School diploma or GED. Current Ohio Drivers License with acceptable driving record is required Criminal Background verification, with acceptable clearance according to applicable rules and requirements. Driving history must meet insurance carrier requirements. Willingness to work flexible schedule and provide responsible supervision and assistance to adults with Developmental Disabilities. Ability to work as a team member and communicate in a positive and effective manner with persons served, support staff, and others. Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written skills Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals Maintains current and annual training requirements Must have at least one (1) year of healthcare experience or working with disabilities individuals.
