This position will provide essential care to our residents by assisting them with activities of daily living while ensuring wellbeing and safety.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsible for providing services to each resident according to the resident service plan.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility.
Monitor health, safety and well-being of the residents by taking and recording vitals, reporting nuances to supervisor.
Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and using mobility aids as needed.
Document information pertaining to changes in residents’ functional status, personal needs, appointments, etc.
Maintain an accurate record of chargeable services and submit record to supervisor by the designated date each month.
Respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assisting with their immediate need or contacting emergency support.
Assist with minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments, including laundry if applicable.
Maintain clean and sanitary resident spaces, adhering to infection control protocols.
Encourage socialization among residents and promote activities, chaperoning and assisting as requested.
Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations, and personnel.
Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and in-services

Requires a Certified Nurse's Aide Certification, active state registry status, and a high school diploma or GED. Basic First Aid training is required, with previous senior living experience preferred.
