Our operating room (OR) department is one of the largest and most active OR departments in the state, with an experienced staff providing comprehensive surgical care to our patients. We are fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology and have dedicated teams of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and other medical personnel who work together to deliver outstanding care. Our OR staff is committed to providing the highest quality patient care in a safe and comfortable environment.
Anesthesia technicians perform a variety of activities in support of Patient Care, surgery related tasks and support of anesthesia personnel to assist the Department of Anesthesia and Department of Surgery while providing a safe environment for the administration of anesthesia care. They also maintain the supportive continuum of safe anesthesia administration for the patient population from infancy to geriatrics. They ensure the cleanliness of equipment and support patient safety by performing routine equipment checks.
Performs a variety of activities supporting the anesthesiologist and other Operating Room personnel in ensuring the safe and effective administration of anesthetic agents and placement of intravenous lines
Maintains equipment cleanliness and ensures the safety of patients by performing routine equipment checks
Provides support to Anesthesiologists, CRNAs and Registered Nurses to ensure collaborative, safe and efficient patient care processes
High school graduate or equivalent
Previous relevant experience in OR, or equivalent experience such as EMT, LNA or LPN
BLS required.
Medical Technician Certification from the State of New Hampshire required (unless other current NH state license is held).
ASATT (American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians) Certification preferred and required within 1 year of hire.
10:00am - 6:30pm or 10:30am - 7:00pm
