Part Time Caregiver – Whitman, MA A family in Whitman, MA 02382 is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient caregiver to support an older adult in the home. The family is looking for someone who can provide assistance with daily routines, offer companionship, and help promote safety and independence.
Assist with morning routines, including getting up for the day Provide assistance with showering, dressing, and changing a daytime catheter bag as needed Prepare breakfast and snacks and clean up afterward Provide medication reminders and ensure medications are taken as directed Encourage and assist with spending time outdoors when weather permits Provide companionship and supervision to promote safety, as the care recipient uses a walker and is unsteady on his feet Assist with meal preparation and cooking activities, including lifting pans, retrieving items, and cleaning up Be available throughout the day to provide support as needed
