The successful candidate

Schedule

  • Monday –
  • Friday, either 7:30 AM – 4:00
  • PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Job Responsibilities

  • The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) performs delegated patient care tasks for an assigned patient population.
  • They will perform clinical tasks as well as administrative duties assigned by the Clinic Manager to facilitate the care of patients.
  • The Certified Medical Assistant performs all responsibilities in accordance with all policy and procedure guidelines.
  • The CMA provides care for all assigned patient populations.
  • They will function under the direct supervision of the Medical Oncologist, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant for patient care activities.
  • Their assignments, evaluations, and reporting structure are to the Clinic Manager/Supervisor.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Required Certification/Licensure

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
  • CPR certified

Preferred Experience

• Minimum two years of medical/surgical or oncology experience preferred

Skills/Abilities

• Previous office experience desirable
