Clinical Admissions Specialist Remote | Part-Time | $25-$30/hour | 5p-7p Monday-Friday

About the Role

The Clinical Admissions Specialist leads Connection Calls, clinician-led conversations with teens and their families during intake at AWA. You are the first clinical voice they hear: you build quick rapport with the adolescent, confirm the right level of care, and help parents feel confident AWA is the right fit. This role turns a family's hardest phone call into their first step toward healing. Backgrounds that translate well: Adolescent PHP/IOP · Outpatient Therapy · Adolescent Behavioral Health · Admissions/Intake · Telehealth What You'll Do Conduct 15-30 minute Connection Calls with teens and families Build rapport and gain the teen's buy-in for treatment Complete brief CALOCUS assessments to confirm level of care and screen red flags Explain PHP and IOP programming with accuracy and empathy Walk families through placement and next steps Document calls and hand off to the Admissions and treatment teams Escalate families needing a higher or different level of care Keep a consistent weekly schedule What We're Looking For Required Adolescent PHP and/or IOP experience Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, MFT, or related field Clinical experience with adolescents and families Warm, confident phone presence Preferred Active licensure or registered intern status Comfort working independently and remotely Private home office for confidential conversations Bilingual (English/Spanish) AWA and PRC are dual behavioral health organizations operating PHP and IOP programs across South Florida. Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or MFT with clinical experience in adolescent PHP or IOP settings. Candidates should possess a warm phone presence and preferably hold an active clinical license or registered intern status.
