About the role

Provide one-on-one companion and mentor support for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in home and community settings. Responsibilities include personal care, assisting with daily tasks like meal preparation, and facilitating community integration activities.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the team in Chester County and Delaware County, PA.

BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential.

We are part-time and provide flexibility with scheduling through various shift locations and times throughout Chester and Delaware County, PA.

Requirements

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably one or more years of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Training may be available through an apprentice program for those without prior experience.
