The Registered Nurse is responsible for collaborating with the healthcare team and patients to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. They must promote optimal patient health and safety in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and organizational values.

Where You’ll Work As a Registered Nurse in Pre-Procedure Testing at St.

Anthony North Hospital, you will manage comprehensive care coordination to ensure patients are medically optimized and cleared for surgery.

Your responsibilities include performing thorough patient chart reviews and providing detailed telephonic education to prepare patients for their upcoming procedures.

You will collaborate closely with anesthesia providers to manage complex cases and facilitate all necessary testing and medical clearances.

Supporting a surgical department that includes 12 pre-op rooms and 19 PACU bays, you will serve as a critical point of contact for a high-volume schedule that averages 30 surgeries, 10 GI procedures, and 25 pain clinic cases daily, ensuring all clinical requirements and safety protocols are met prior to admission.

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.

Every day you will promote optimal patient health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrating personal accountability for relationship-based care and our organizational mission.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with a commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to apply the nursing process effectively within a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing and a valid RN license. One year of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing are preferred.
