Where You Will Work

Hyperbaric Wound is located on the fourth floor of our hospital. With many of our patient rooms facing the surrounding woods. We support 2 monoplace chambers and 5 treatment rooms.

Our department strives to have consistently high patient satisfaction and outcome scores. Each month, we receive wonderful letters and comments from patients who appreciate our care. Our Hyperbaric Department is Nationally Accredited with Distinction spotlighting our focus of providing excellent patient care. Our team has been recognized for multiple hospital wide awards including nurse of the year, Daisy, and celebrating certification.

We’re Looking For

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Required to obtain ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association
  • Teammates who are motivated to become certified within our specialty

What You’ll Do

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Located along the shores of Lake Michigan, Aurora Medical Center - Manitowoc County features state-of-the-art facilities and patient rooms with views of either the surrounding lake or gardens.

Our cancer and cardiac care programs have received national recognition for their best practices and quality of care.

You can also count on Aurora Health Center, located on the same campus, to offer convenient care in conjunction with the hospital. Specialists in a variety of fields see patients right next door to the hospital and offer in-hospital consultations.

Requirements

Must have completed an accredited nursing program and hold a valid Registered Nurse license. Required certifications include BLS, with a requirement to obtain ACLS and PALS.
