Contract Details Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM 12 hr Nights 36hr guarantee Start Date: 8/3/2026 Contract: 13 Weeks Location: Springfield, VT Hourly Pay: $ 31.50 Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00 Weekly Total Pay: $ 2096.50 Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Holidays required if needed On Call Requirements: TBD Nurse: Patient - 1:5 Number of Beds; 25 THIS IS AN ADAPTIVE ACUITY UNIT! ON OCCASION, TRAVELERS WILL BE ASKED TO PROVIDE PCU CARE (3:1 ratio). THIS CARE IS NON-NEGOTIABLE AND MAY NOT BE REFUSED. DRIP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. ***CHARGE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS NEED***. *

Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer Key Responsibilities: Using electrocardiogram (EKG) machines to continuously track heart performance Analyzing EKG results to establish baselines and spot abnormalities Recording EKG results to keep patient information accurate Overseeing stress tests to assess patients’ heart function Delivering emergency medical care when patients suffer heart attacks or other life-threatening problems Overseeing and coordinating the activities of telemetry technicians and other staff in their units Administering medications and other treatments ordered by physicians Educating patients on lifestyle changes and ongoing treatments prior to discharge from the hospital Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer
Minimum Requirements: Must have 2+ years of current med surg/tele experience [required] Must have Charge experience CHARGE EXPERIENCE Progressive Care Unit/PCU experience strongly experience DRIP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED ICU experience strongly experience TRAVELER MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO ANY INPATIENT UNIT WITHIN THEIR SCOPE OF PRACTICE Must have a MINIMUM 3 months' previous travel experience - NON-NEGOTIABLE (more is preferred) Small critical access facility experience [preferred] Must have experience with Insulin drips, emolol drips and sodium drips Must have and maintain current Active American Heart Association ACLS Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association during employment Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start): Drug screen and background check (facility required) Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
