Assists registered nurses, physicians, and other practitioners in providing designated patient care within the Emergency Department and Fast Track Emergency Services. Performs various duties to support the efficient throughput of patients in the ED/FSED.
Under the direction of the Unit Manager, and under the supervision of the ED/FSED Charge nurse, assists the registered nurse, physician assistant, nurse practitioner and physician in the ED/FSED in giving designated care to the patient under their direct supervision; and performs a variety of other related duties to assist in the throughput of patients in the ED/FSED.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
