  • Performs a variety of MRI procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.

  • Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Prepares, performs, and assists the physician in magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited education program in

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • ARRT Registered Technologist, RT (R), RT (MR), required.
  • TN State license required.
  • CPR Certification required.
