Locum - Physician - OB/GYN

**Job Details: **

- **Shift Coverage

• *
• Monday to Friday, consisting of 8 hours dedicated to patient care, with up to 6 hours allocated for clinic duties, including night call responsibilities.

- **Weekend Call

• *
• 24-hour call coverage required. -

**Duration

• *
• Position commencement in August, projected to conclude by December 31, 2026.

- **Patient Volume

• *
• Outpatient load of 6-8 patients per day with an average of 1.5 deliveries per day.

- **Support Staff

• *
• Collaboration with 2 Nurse Practitioners.

- **EHR System

• *
• Utilization of Cerner for electronic health records.

**Clinical Skills and Procedures Required

• *
• Comprehensive prenatal care
• Proficient in vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections (C-sections)
• Experience with vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC)

**Shift Description

• *
• Clinic hours range from 2 to 4 hours daily, with an additional 24-hour call coverage (2 hours considered gratis).

**On Call Requirements

• *
• Night call and 24-hour call responsibilities, with the first 2 hours considered gratis.

**Qualifications

• *
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
• Active Michigan medical license.
• A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in OB/GYN.
• Preference for local candidates.

• NPDB check must be completed within the last 30 days.
