About the role

Salary Range

$62,245 - $72,628.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do Facilitating group therapy sessions for clients. Familiarizing with and utilizing our evidence-based curriculum guides and training. Providing detailed feedback and maintaining clinical progress notes on clients. Counseling one-on-one with clients, when deemed necessary. Participating in our community research and public health partners’ research and data collection efforts. Formulating and maintaining treatment plans for each client served. Collaborating with community partners and our providers on case management and care coordination efforts. Adhering to professional and ethical work standards, enforcing appropriate counselor/client boundaries. Managing group dynamics and problem behavior with strong, professional judgement and in a way that does not jeopardize group integrity. Maintaining compliance with federal, state and local regulations for licensing and billing purposes. Attending and engaging in regular training, company meetings, monthly counselor consultation, and supervision as necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Graduate degree in mental health, social work, psychology, addictions or related field. Maine License as LADC, CADC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCISW. 2-3 years of experience working with substance use or related field Ability to work 2 evenings per week up to 8:30pm as needed. Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting. High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc. Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor or Graduate degree in a mental health field and a valid Maine license (e.g., LADC, LCSW). A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in substance use and at least two years of experience leading group therapy is required.
